Coco Beach
is basically a fishing village which is
situated amongst large number of palm
trees at the mouth of the
Nerul
River on the Mandovi Estuary, which lies
directly opposite to Panaji City. Further
down the estuary there are two small
beaches of Quedevelim and the
Reis Magos Church and Reis Magos Fort.
Coco Beach is a very quite beach
which is mostly frequented by Goan
families for picnics as well as a lot of
foreign tourists. Coco beach has gained
prominence in recent years with its
exquisite location at the amalgamation of
the Nerul River with the Arabian Sea.
The beauty of the settings is further
accentuated by the verdant greenery which
surrounds the Coco beach right from the
village.

: The
major attractions of Coco
Beach are the regular boat rides into the
Mandovi river and back which are called
Dolphin spotting trip. The beach
restaurants/shacks on Coco Beach also dish out
typical Konkani and Goan cuisines.
