Colva Beach is the pride of the state of Goa and is a jewel in Goa’s crown of beaches. Colva Beach is the most famous beach of South Goa and second only to Calangute in terms of popularity of Goan beaches. Colva Beach is Goa’s longest beach with 20 km of virgin silvery white sands, lazily swaying the sun drenched palm trees. The white sands of Colva Beach is soft and fine, ideal to walk barefoot anytime day or night.

Colva beach is particularly popular for the shacks and huts that dot the shoreline providing Goan cuisine and drink. These are open most of the day and evening, and many visitors enjoy the delights of locally caught seafood while watching the sun set over the beautifully clear seas.

Colva Beach is a little busier than other nearby beaches of South Goa due to its charms that keep attracting visitors back to the region year after year.

Location Access : Colva beach is situated 27 kms from Dabolim Airport, 40 kms from Panaji City, 06 kms from Madgaon City and 02 kms from Benaulim Beach.  

Beach Activities :  Swimming is pretty safe at Colva beach and visitors can really have a gala time at this beautiful place. While taking a stroll on the Colva Beach, silver carpets of bangdde (mackerels) can be viewed shimmering on the golden sands for drying. Fishermen’s motor trawlers can be seen anchored in a line offshore.
