Morjim beach is an isolated beach
which opens up its colors right from the
time one has its first sight from Anjuna.
The beach is situated near the mouth of
Chapora River, which joins the Arabian
Sea. The beach is natural and bereft of
any commercialization.
It can be viewed from Fort Chapora
as a beach that has stretches of empty
sand with a lot of palms and casuarinas
trees in the background. The fantastic
palm fringed beach with silver sand and
crystal clear waters is any beach and
nature lover’s dream come true.
Morjim beach is most famous for the
famous Olive Ridley turtles that are found
here easily during the nesting season,
which lasts from November to March.
